Cavity magnomechanical storage and retrieval of quantum states

Abstract We show how a quantum state in microwave cavity mode can be transferred to and stored phononic via an intermediate magnon magnomechanical system. For this we consider ferrimagnetic yttrium iron garnet (YIG) sphere inserted cavity, where the modes are coupled magnetic-dipole interaction phonon YIG magnetostrictive forces. By modulating detunings driving of time, stimulated Raman adiabatic passage-like coherent transfer becomes possible between mode. The used store photonic for long periods as it possesses lower damping than modes. Thus our proposed scheme offers possibility using systems memory information.
